Friday at the Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. CLARKSVILLE Roland Ray Hartline, 64, died Tuesday at his residence. Hartline was a native of Bloomington, IN, and the ninthchild of Clyde and Clara K. Hartline.

He attended Male High School in Louisville and followed his dad and brothers to the Railroad and the Norfolk Southern Railroad where he had 42 years of service and was a computer operator. He entered military service in September of 1961 and was discharged in September 1963. Basic training was at Fort Knox, KY, and he was then transfered to Fort Hood, TX. Being a huge, stout youngster, he was trained as a military policeman and assigned to a special STRIC Battalion used only on special missions. Two of these missions were the Civil Rights Disorder of the early 1960's in Oxford, MS, and protecting Vice President Lyndon B.

Johnson at the Seattle World's Fair in 1962. On September 2, 1963, he married Ruby Louise Perkins in Houston, TX, and was member of the Sellersburg American Legion Post in Sellersburg, IN. He is survived by his wife, the former, "Momma Ruby" Perkins of Clarksville; two sons, Tony Ray Hartline of the United States Navy and Donald William Hartline of Jeffersonville; three brothers, John, Harry and Bobby Hartline, all of Louisville; two sisters, Hazel sey of New Albany, IN, and Betty Blanton of Florida; and several grandchildren. Visitation will be at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown New Albany, from 1-8 p.m. Friday.

She was the daughter of the late, Ollie Farris and Charles Matt Durham. Tomes was born March 28, 1907, in Campbellsville, KY, where she resided for 91 years.

She accepted Christ at the age of 11 and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was an officer of her Sunday School class as well as holding several offices during her active years. She was a member of the David Allen Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. After the death of her husband, Robert Clelland Durham, she managed the Campbellsville Produce Company. Mrs.
