There are few sporting events that carry the mystique of the Champions League Final. This year, myself and other members of the Brooklyn Borussen NYC Fan Club had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend the Final at Wembley Stadium and cheer on our boys from the stands. While the result stung, the experience of supporting Die Schwarz-Gelben in person will never be forgotten. I would like to extend a massive thank you to Borussia Dortmund for giving us the chance to participate in this momentous event and for creating such a wonderful video to recap our Fan Club's day at the Final.https://lnkd.in/eZEMDXjZ

One of my favorite parts of Black History Month is hearing the stories of the brave people who came before us; but that does not mean these conversations need to be reserved for the month of February. I hope my story and the countless others being shared can act as a constant reminder to never shy away from history, and to always have an open heart and mind. Progress in the fight against injustice and inequality is only achieved through a collective effort. I can't wait to hear more stories and share more history as we all work towards finding more common ground rather than superficial differences. Happy BHM!

There are many things in life that I have wanted to do, but many fewer that I have felt called to do, always returning in some shape or form to them. These callings exist not as definitive destinations, but rather as a yearning to simply do something. I follow these callings like the flow of a river, not knowing what lies at the mouth. I am only certain that it feels right while I am drifting along it.One of these callings has always been baseball, a game I've played, watched, and studied my entire life. Through all of life's uncertainties, challenges, and lessons, baseball has been a constant for me. The game has served as both mirror and microscope, giving me new perspective on both myself and the world around me.Starting this summer, I will have the amazin' opportunity to continue pursuing my love of baseball when I join the New York Mets as a baseball analyst. While words cannot capture the magnitude of my excitement, I am counting the days until I can start working at Citi Field, supporting a world class coaching staff and front office. There are many people who have contributed to this journey, too many to thank individually, but I would like to take the time to thank Ben Zauzmer, Desmond McGowan, and Joe Lefkowitz for guiding me through the application process and helping me turn my passion into a career, and for offering such a warm welcome into the organization.#LGM!

As the first round of exams pass in my Master's of Business Analytics Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - The Lally School of Management, I have had some time to reflect on my summer internship with Boston Scientific in the Control Tower. This experience fulfilled my 2 primary expectations for an internship with flying colors. The first was to work on impactful projects, and I am more than pleased to have been assigned work that dealt with real data, and the outcomes were extremely relevant to the long and short term plans of the company. The second was to develop my skills as an analyst. Over the summer, I sharpened my skills in SQL, Excel, and other Supply Chain and Operations management software. It is an incredibly validating feeling to have already been exposed to the tools and skills I am learning in my master's program this year. I cannot thank the entire Team at Boston Scientific enough for an absolutely incredible experience this summer!
