Americana: Digital HellscapeThis semester, I took EMAR 391: Projection Design with Anna Henson. For our midterm, we were tasked with designing a projection design performance to be viewed over Zoom. My team decided to design a piece inspired by Dante's Inferno. Our performance, led by Gage Boardman, takes you through a digital hellscape. The three-act performance focuses on violence, fraud, and treachery, the themes covered in Danto's 7th-9th layers of hell and commonly present in American media.
